The project will involve 240 persons, third-country nationals* who will be able to learn the Latvian language free of charge in the amount of 120 academic hours. 50% of them will be able to take the national language proficiency test in the National Educational Content Centre (VISC) for free.
Latvian training courses are set at three levels – basic (A), intermediate (B), and advanced (C). All four Latvian language skills – listening, reading, writing and speaking – will be developed at each level. Training will be suitable for people of different ages. That will help them to learn Latvian in an interactive way and will prepare third-country nationals to use their professional skills, obtaining necessary level of Latvian. That will also be helpful for acquiring a permanent residence permit and to be competitive in the labour market.
Latvian Language Course class will be held at Palasta Street 10, Riga/or online Zoom..
It is possible to organise class in other places in Latvia (upon request).
